A foundational two-day in-person training introducing the principles, setup, and body mechanics of Chavuttidhara.

The training teaches a complete full-body sequence designed to adapt to different treatment environments and practice situations. Students will gain hands-on experience assembling and working with the Travel Bars, while learning practical application, efficient body mechanics, flow, safety considerations, and portability for real-world use. The skills learned can be applied with or without a massage table, supporting floor-based work, mobile practice, and flexible treatment environments.
Registration is transferable up to 14 days before class. Cancellations within 14 days may be credited toward a future training at the discretion of Barefoot Hands.
Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment that involves manipulating the soft tissues of the body, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. It is used to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and improve circulation. Various techniques can be employed, such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, each tailored to meet individual needs.
Regular massage therapy can help alleviate pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. It is often recommended for individuals recovering from injuries or those experiencing chronic pain conditions.
